Make a Donation, Make a Difference

Since October 1992, The Recovering Communities of Step Ahead (RCOSA) has provided safe, sober, and reasonably affordable housing to those new to recovery. Generous donations make it possible for RCOSA to provide individual and group counseling, educational groups, 12-step meetings, and other therapies at the homes.

RCOSA is proudly a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Our focus is on recovery, not profits. We are a recovery community of newly sober residents located in the lakefront community of Edgewater, IL. We provide reasonably priced sober living with an exceptional program sponsored in part by our generous supporters.

Recovery is a lifelong process; therefore, we created the uniquely inclusive RCOSA Recovery Community sober living facility with groups and recovery sessions to prepare the residents for long-term recovery. The donations provided will allow us to expand the groups and special events that will introduce our residents to the sober community.
